Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May the Lord give you peace.In today’s wonderful readings we are  invited to reflect deeply on the nature of our faith and its practical implications in our lives. The Letter to the Hebrews speaks eloquently about the supremacy of Christ as our High Priest and the perfect sacrifice for our sins. In the Gospel of Mark, we witness Jesus engaging with the people around him, teaching them with authority, and demonstrating compassion in action, in particular by healing Simon Peter’s mother-in-law.
