FranciscanPreacher.com is a Catholic preaching ministry created and maintained by Fr. Pierre Farrugia, OFM, a Roman Catholic priest of the Order of Friars Minor in good standing, dedicated to preaching the Gospel in fidelity to the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church.

Fr. Pierre presently serves in positions of formation, governance, and pastoral ministry within the Franciscan Order, including appointments as Provincial Definitor, Secretary of Formation and Studies, Post-Novitiate Director of Formation, and Extraordinary Penitentiary for the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran in Rome.

The purpose of this website is to share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by providing daily homilies for each day of the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar, following the Church’s three-year cycle of readings: Years A, B, and C.

What makes these homilies distinctive is their deeply Franciscan character. Rooted in the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi, they reflect themes such as the Incarnation, the humanity of Christ, humility, simplicity, minority, the Eucharist, conversion, prayer, trust in Divine Providence, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the beauty of God’s creation.

Our reflections frequently draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Saint Francis of Assisi, founder of the Order of Friars Minor, helping readers encounter the Gospel through the richness of the Franciscan spiritual tradition.

Yet this website is not simply a place to read and listen—it is a place to participate.

Visitors are warmly encouraged to share their own thoughts, insights, and reflections in the comment section of each homily. If the editor determines that a contribution would enrich the reflection, it may be incorporated into a future edited version of the homily and shared with all visitors to the site.
