In today’s beautiful readings, we are reminded once again that Jesus lives and that he walks with us every step of the way until we make it to the other side, to the ports of heaven, safely and securely, if we but trust in him.
In queste letture, la Chiesa ci ricorda che Gesù è vivo e cammina con noi lungo tutta la strada della nostra vita. Come i discepoli di Emmaus, anche noi sperimentiamo momenti di delusione e smarrimento, quando le nostre speranze sembrano crollare. Eppure proprio in questi momenti il Signore si avvicina, anche se spesso non lo riconosciamo subito.
